Jeremiah 23:7-8
7 “So then, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when people will no longer say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ 8 but they will say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ Then they will live in their own land.”
Our God, our faith, our hope is not one of yesterday but for today. He is our ever-present help (Psalm 46:1), He is Revival for today, He is still the miracle working God of right now.
The Prophet Jeremiah was foretelling to the Israelites that they would soon not be telling stories of how the Lord led them out of Egypt hundreds of years earlier, but how He led them back to Jerusalem just now.

Remember those miracles you have seen in your own life.
But …… and I really mean it ……. do not camp out in the past.
He is the God of the past, but also the future and right now.
Be expectant for what He is going to do today!
