Term 1 at C3SB Youth!

We have a stack of great things happening this term at youth group.

C3SB Youth happens every Friday night of the term at our church at Caves Beach from 7:30-9pm. Youth group is for school years 6-12 and at just $5 per family, it is crazy awesome value and fun. Especially considering we have our very own rock climbing wall that they get to use each night we do youth at the church. There’s a few weeks a term where we go do some other fun stuff like Ice Skating, or go to the beach or ………

7pm DIG

New from this term we have DIG at 7pm on Friday nights. A place and time for the youth to dig deeper into the things of God in smaller groups.
If not keen, you can still come along at 7:30 for youth as normal.

What to Expect at Youth

Youth group usually starts with a bit of a chill out time where the youth get to catch up, chill on the lounges or climb the Rock. Then we usually play a game or do some kind of activity altogether. We love playing Ultimate Frisbee, Matt Ball or an activity that might fit into our night’s theme.

At some point in the night we often hear a life giving and affirming message about faith in Jesus, life, self esteem or a myriad of other topics. The messages are fun, relevant and based on the Bible and inspired by the Holy Spirit. We then sometimes spend some time in worship or prayer, or grab some food and hang out or play some other crazy games such as ‘death chair’!

So come along and meet some other awesome young people and have a stack of fun.

See you there!

PS: Hey, here’s some classic catches from ultimate frisbee (this is so not us!)

Hey, we’re also thinking of changing up our name from something useful and easy to remember to something a bit more edgy. What do you think of these names?

Messy Games was awesome on Friday night ……
A film crew from SBC has been following our group as they are making a documentary called ‘youth group’. Here’s the first episode, which is airing sometime later this year.
